Which ride fits your day?
Start with the experience, not the cheapest search result. A small coloured cabin and a train along the coast solve different travel needs, even though both belong to Blue Line Park. The capsule’s approximately 30-minute ride is not the total time you need for queues, reaching the station or returning.

Departure and return
With a capsule booked from Mipo, decide what happens after you get off at Cheongsapo: time on the coast followed by the train, or a separate ground transfer back to your accommodation. Save the station name and map pin together; a Cheongsapo departure does not become a Mipo departure because your hotel is closer to Mipo.
Do not plan to board the capsule directly at Songjeong. The capsule runs only between Mipo and Cheongsapo, so a combination beginning at Songjeong starts with the train. Your outward and return rides need not be the same type.
Compare prices in the same unit
Check the capsule fare for the cabin size you need. One cabin for two travellers cannot be compared directly with a tour advertised per person. Add accommodation-to-station travel, the return journey, meals and any other tickets to your trip total.
Official information pages show differing amounts, so this guide deliberately does not quote a fixed capsule fare. Check the final booking screen for your date, cabin occupancy and option. An all-stations train ticket in a package also needs its boarding limits checked: once at each station is not unlimited repeat riding.
Booking windows are not an itinerary
The capsule’s 30-minute reservation slot is a boarding window, not the end time of your whole visit. The operator’s combination guidance spaces the train at least one hour after a capsule booking, or the capsule at least 30 minutes after a train booking.
Those gaps do not guarantee time for a long lunch or photo stop. Add your own margin before another reservation. For a late capsule slot, check the last train and your return transport before paying, rather than assuming the package will get you home.
A manageable half-day plan
This is an editorial route suggestion, not a timetable. Keep the core simple: start at Mipo, ride to Cheongsapo and stop there without racing onward. Add Songjeong only if you have room for the train and return. Yonggungsa Temple or a night tour is an optional separate commitment, not something you must squeeze into this visit.

A tour is not a standalone ticket
The Gollaba products below are coastal sightseeing or night-view tours. They are not equivalent to buying a capsule-only ticket from Blue Line Park. Check the selected option for guide language, meeting point, pickup, capsule direction and whether a cabin is shared with other participants.
If your tour already includes the capsule, avoid buying it twice. For an independent visit, add station access and the return cost before comparing with a tour. The seller’s chosen date and option, not a broad product title, determine what is included.
Weather, access and cancellation
Weather can change or suspend operations. Do not assume the Beach Train is always a working replacement for a cancelled capsule; check each service’s notice. An operator cancellation and a change to your own plans are different refund situations, governed by the channel where you bought the ticket.
With a stroller, wheelchair or large bag, ask about station access, boarding and folding or storage requirements before booking. If your party exceeds a cabin’s permitted occupancy, confirm the vehicle arrangement rather than booking everyone into one cabin.
Questions and final checks
Must I ride both? No. A capsule experience or a train journey along the coast can each be the main purpose of your visit.
Will I depart exactly at my booked time? Do not treat a capsule boarding window like a reserved train departure. Leave room for waiting and movement before your next commitment. Check the following together before payment.
