Spa Land Busan: Your First Visit, Four-Hour Limit and Bathing Rules

GollabaSource checked: Editorial review:
The short answer

Spa Land is a bath-and-jjimjil facility on Shinsegae Centum City’s first floor, with a basic four-hour visit. The operator accepts elementary-school-aged children and older; elementary students need a same-gender guardian. It is not a family swimming-pool session: separate the gender-segregated bathing areas from shared areas used in provided clothing.

Some source checks are due for review. Confirm current details with the official provider before travelling.

Understand the spaces before buying

Seller instructions separate men’s and women’s bathing areas from shared jjimjil zones. The baths are not a swimsuit swimming session; the shared areas use the supplied clothing. A couple or family should not expect to remain together in every room.

At check-in, ask about the key, clothing, washing area and where to meet companions again. If communal bathing is not comfortable for you or an eligibility question remains, clarify the usable areas with staff rather than assuming you must use every facility.

Eligibility comes before the discount

The operator starts admission at elementary-school age and requires an elementary student’s guardian to be the same gender. Do not assume a younger child can enter because you bought a family quantity. If school-age classification is unclear, give the actual birth date and accompanying adult when asking.

Some seller products are for foreign visitors only. Tattoo restrictions also need a personal check: a seller’s caution is not a guarantee that every tattoo is accepted or that every tattoo is prohibited. Price does not override an admission condition.

Read four and six hours as billing conditions

The operator’s basic visit is four hours, with an additional ₩5,000 per extra hour. The six-hour condition requires at least ₩10,000 of spending inside, excluding admission. Paying more than that for the entrance voucher does not itself qualify.

Ask when the visit clock starts, how extra time is charged and which spending counts. Buying something you do not want only to stay longer may be worse than choosing your preferred rooms within the basic allowance. A four-hour voucher is not an unlimited day pass.

ItemOperator reference at check
Regular adult admission₩26,000 / basic 4 hours
Extra time₩5,000 per hour
6-hour conditionSpend ₩10,000 inside excluding admission

Suitcase storage is separate from the internal locker

Large suitcases are restricted in the internal locker room; the operator directs visitors to separate storage before admission. The listed reference is ₩3,000 for five hours and ₩1,000 per additional hour. “Lockers available” is not a promise of free airport-luggage storage.

For a post-checkout visit, decide where the large bag goes first. Track purchases made through the wrist key as well: they remain part of the final settlement even when no cash changes hands inside.

Respect privacy before making memories

Wash before entering the baths and follow seller instructions and signs restricting phones, filming and photography in changing and sauna areas. Saying that you are not aiming at anyone does not justify a video call or camera use in a locker room. Discuss companion photographs only in a permitted location.

We do not promise detoxification, improved immunity or treatment of disease. Follow the facility’s instructions and appropriate professional advice for a personal concern; there is no need to force a visit to every hot room.

Match voucher validity to the available visit

The standard window is 09:00–22:00 with last entry at 21:00. Entering then does not create four hours before closing. Check the actual Spa Land entrance as well as department-store doors or an underground connection; work backward from the rest time you want.

For the linked four-hour product, read nationality eligibility, selected-date or expiry rules, cancellation and weekend applicability. The operator lists an additional charge when a weekday voucher is used on a weekend or public holiday. That does not make every seller option a weekday voucher: verify the one you buy.

First-visit questions

Can a toddler enter? The operator starts at elementary-school age. Is four hours an all-day pass? No. Is a suitcase automatically free? Separate paid large-bag storage from the internal locker. Can a couple share every bath? Bathing and common clothed areas are different.

Are tattoos always accepted? Confirm your case before purchase. Is every outdoor feature open? The operator marks a women’s outdoor bath as not operating, so verify the actual facility rather than a general brochure image.

Check before payment and entry

For a first visit, eligibility and the differences between time allowances and spaces matter more than counting every room. Resolve them before comparing prices and deciding your rest plan.

  • Check child eligibility, guardian and seller nationality rules
  • Ask about tattoos and personal restrictions
  • Check clock, extra charges and closing
  • Plan suitcase storage and internal spending
  • Follow privacy, clothing and bath instructions
