Calculate all the way to the hotel
Work out what happens after reaching the railway station or a city stop. Is the journey finished, or is a walk or another vehicle required? A short distance on a map may feel different with rain, steps, uneven pavement and a large case. Show the full accommodation address to the driver or staff when confirming where to get off, but do not expect a scheduled bus to stop outside every property. Save the last-leg route offline before leaving the airport connection.
Compare the whole group
At the checked reference fare, four people each paying 50,000 VND would spend 200,000 VND on the bus alone. This is arithmetic excluding concessions and the onward leg, not a market-price estimate for a car. Ask whether a car quote includes airport charges, tolls, waiting and the required luggage capacity. A sensible choice for one person may differ from the convenient choice for a group. Match the final destination rather than comparing a per-person bus fare with an entire vehicle.

Use today’s terminal and boarding point
Confirm T1 or T2 from the flight information, then follow airport signs and ask staff for the current boarding point for your chosen service. Do not treat a pillar number in an old photograph as permanent. A free inter-terminal shuttle and a Hanoi-bound bus have different purposes.
