Entry rules follow your passport, not this page’s language
Reading Korean does not establish a Korean passport, and English readers do not share one nationality. Check your responsible Thai embassy or consulate for the arrival date, passport type, purpose and intended stay. Distinguish the general exemption changes scheduled for 15 September from separate bilateral arrangements; neither “everyone gets sixty days” nor “everyone gets thirty” is a reliable summary. If already admitted, inspect the actual permitted-until stamp. Verify passport validity, onward plans, accommodation and any financial evidence for your own entry route. An application receipt, a granted visa and permission to enter are different stages, not interchangeable confirmations.
Complete TDAC separately on the official portal
The official address is tdac.immigration.go.th and submission is free. Use the dates permitted by the portal within the three-day pre-arrival window; the Thai arrival date may differ from the date you leave home. Each traveller needs individual details even in a family submission. Review passport scanning results, flight and accommodation information, then download the issued document and keep it private. Distinguish a transit that does not pass immigration from actually entering Thailand. A third-party service charge is not a Thai government TDAC fee, and completing the card does not resolve a separate visa requirement.
Connect the airport arrival to the room
Match the arrival airport code against the pickup reservation. Do not confuse Bangkok’s BKK with DMK or treat landing as hotel arrival. Save the first property’s name, address, contact and late-check-in instructions, together with a map that works without a connection. Check the vehicle’s flight-delay waiting terms, possible extra charges and whom to contact if the arrangement is missed. Leave major sightseeing until you know how everyone feels after arrival. The table is a recommended preparation sequence, not a replacement for the actual deadlines imposed by the airline, immigration system or activity operator.
| Stage | Finish |
|---|---|
| Before non-refundable payment | Entry eligibility, passport and dates |
| Portal submission window | TDAC and each traveller’s details |
| Final pre-departure check | Flight, pickup, hotel and contacts |
Keep the right contact and the right evidence
For a booking change, contact the seller actually paid and retain the voucher, payment record and change notices. Thailand’s Tourist Police can be reached on 1155 for tourist assistance; do not confuse that service with a dedicated medical-emergency number. Save the insurer’s emergency contact and your own consular contact separately. Never post a full passport page or booking QR in a public chat or review photograph. Recheck date-sensitive entry guidance and flight status just before leaving, and follow restrictions given by responsible staff on site. The final task is not another reservation: it is making sure the documents and first journey agree.
- Verify passport-specific rules effective on arrival
- Distinguish TDAC, visa and entry permission
- Save the first hotel and contacts offline
