Know what the admission ticket covers
Aquarium admission and a transport package are different purchases. The standard tax-inclusive rates are below. High-school and elementary/junior-high categories differ; clarify eligibility and carry relevant identification if your child’s school category is unclear. Multiplying the adult price by your family size may be wrong.
Keep the ticket if you leave and re-enter on the same day: the official procedure requires showing it. A seller’s voucher may have different redemption steps. Check whether your code is ready for admission or requires exchange, alongside the selected option’s validity and cancellation terms.

Separate the ticket subtotal from the day total
Two standard adult tickets cost 2,180 × 2 = ¥4,360. That is an admission subtotal, not a Naha day-trip price. Add both bus directions, food and any transport to the stop. If a package includes other paid attractions, list them separately so you do not buy their entry twice.
Compare usable aquarium time before comparing prices. A cheaper connection with long waits is not the same experience; neither is a busy tour with only a short aquarium stop. Decide whether transport convenience or longer exhibition time matters more to your party.
Use the calendar for your visit date
The standard hours are 08:30–18:30, with last admission at 17:30. Special extended dates are exceptions: do not carry August 2026’s later closing time into a September itinerary. Last admission does not imply enough time for the visit you want, so choose an earlier arrival.
The official page lists no planned closure through March 31, 2027 apart from circumstances such as weather; that is not a live opening guarantee. Nearby outdoor facilities and programmes can follow different hours. Check the specific programme and any suspension notice rather than assuming the main aquarium schedule covers everything.
Work backwards from the return bus
The aquarium is inside Ocean Expo Park in Motobu. Bus arrival is not arrival at the aquarium entrance: include the walk, and verify your operator’s stop and route. Some services may be suspended. Save the actual return boarding point and time before choosing when to finish the visit.
Before paying, recheck admission inclusion, one-way versus return transport, meeting location, redemption and cancellation. A tour’s estimated return is not a flight-connection guarantee. A separate northern day gives more resilience than a tight visit before flying. Add extra walking margin for children or slower walkers.
