Start at Wat Pho without rushing the visit
If using Sanam Chai station, follow the current exit guidance towards Wat Pho and include the walk to the actual temple entrance. Do not reserve the next activity so tightly that the visit becomes a dash. Agree whether your group wants only the reclining Buddha hall or time elsewhere in the grounds. Observe the signs for worship areas, shoes and photography, keeping worshippers’ paths clear rather than occupying them to compose a photograph.
After a break, confirm the crossing you need
For a crossing from the Tha Tien side towards Wat Arun, confirm the destination and today’s boarding position with staff. A longer sightseeing service along the river is not automatically necessary. Consider steps, the moving boarding surface and your group’s belongings; ask about assistance before attempting to board if it is needed. If the service is suspended or access is unsuitable, change the order or transport rather than forcing the connection just to preserve the suggested route.
Separate admission from optional spending
Using the checked standard foreign-adult figures, Wat Pho at 300 THB plus Wat Arun at 200 THB gives 500 THB for the two admissions. This is not a total including boats, hotel transfers, meals, massage or costume rental. Check each temple’s child conditions separately. If you want a massage at Wat Pho or costume photographs around Wat Arun, verify the separate provider’s appointment, conditions and price; neither activity should be assumed included in the entrance charge.

Finish with a view or a return, not an extra obligation
Seeing Wat Arun lit from the opposite bank is a different experience from visiting inside the temple. Wanting an evening photograph does not grant access after closing. The checked listings show Wat Pho 08:00–19:30 and Wat Arun 08:00–18:00, but confirm restrictions for your date. Protect time to rest and return. If a second temple becomes too demanding, a thoughtful visit to one is a better plan than treating both admissions as a compulsory challenge.
